The look of the forum is a big part also.Unfortunately this forum is on forumer so you are limited to what you can do. but your best bet is to clean up the forum to make it look presentable then go out and advertise on other gaming forums.Sig links and such. be careful because you don't want to get caught and labeled a spammer. A good way to gain traffic is too join up with another smaller sight and trade post/members. you have to seperate yourself from other gaming sites.

Like S4L Said, you should think about where this forum is going... Mods for games? Hosting indie games? Reviewing? etc Once you find a purpose, and develop it, and of course, advertise more, then the user base will start to grow.

Socialist Group: Members Posts: 8 Member No.: 24 Joined: May 19, 2009	One thing that people like to have the option of doing while on there favorite forum is buy/sell/trade things.A marketplace would be a bigg difference from other gaming sites. I haven't seen any that have one. Buuy/sell or trade used games,gear,hardware or software. we have these on all the fashion/sneaker forums and so far we haven't been bothered on copyright laws or publishing disputes from selling products. As long as somewhere on the sites it states that we are not associated with the companie's then we should be in the clear.
