It took me over 10 minutes to load your logo. The filesize is HUGE! I wonder why you used PNG; PNG uses huge amounts of space with images with multiple colors, and are only good for few colored images.

I would recommend using this image with a much smaller filesize to help us dialup users. biggrin.gif

Your current logo: 1.06 MB, 23 times the filesize of this one!

I hope I've helped. smile.gif

The one I just uploaded took me 12 seconds to load compared to 10 mins.

We use PNG as we are graphical designers, and this file extension is prefered, but you do make a valid point and I will change it ASAP.

*Update*

The new logo has been updated sucesfully

Great, but could you host it yourself?

Done

The reason I saved it as PNG is because it gives a great quality image, that of the standards of BMP format, but with half the file-size, but when I logged back in today I didn't notice the difference, kudos to you.

I wouldn't usually use Jpeg myself, not a big fan, quality lacks, it saves colours in groups, rather then the data of each single pixel, as BMP image types do. Though that save is not as bad as I would have expected.

Try saving with GIMP (you'll have to Google it, I don't have the link). It saves with a small filesize and good quality. smile.gif

Stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program by the way, and it's free. It's what I used to save it for you.

Lol, we know what GIMP is, we are graphical designers

The issue is that you can not upload files in GIMP's native .xcf format, but instead you have to export it to another format. Heck, I think solid made the banner in GIMP.

Once again mate you are right, I did make it in GIMP back when I didn't have PS, and the reason we save as PNG is that the quality is far greater
